Sharmila Bar Review

A review on Sharmila Bar, located in Pasig City.

It was one of those days when I was working at an English Language Centre at Eastwood City when I went to this exemplary bar located within the heart of the National Capital Region. Located at Julia Vargas Ave., Pasig City, this bar is one of the bars that can be found near the Home Depot complex. As we entered the scene in Pasig, there are a wide variety of bars to choose from, though this one stood out from the rest because of it's rather simplistic appearance in contrast to the bars that hold its business in the dark with neon lights and such. Sharmila bar is more of a Resto-bar compared to the usual bars that feature drinks, a dark ambience and even overtly loud music. We had fun at the "Al Fresco" part of the bar, the inside was alright and very much enticing for partygoers to dine and consume some alcohol. The liquours sold are the usual yet it was very much appealing, with brands like Manila Beer, San Miguel Light, Blue London Rum and other alcoholic beverages to consume. The meals were a delight to the taste buds since the meals range from finger food such as Nachos, Kilawin (local filipino delicassie), and even Usa Tapa (Deer Tapa) for consumption. Not to mention that the prices in this bar are just right for people who would like to spend their saturday nights enjoying the alcoholic drinks and the process of meeting new people. The only case would be that, it would be a bit of difficulty for the people from the southern cities in Manila. But overall, the Sharmila bar is one experience everyone should try, regardless if you are a foreign expatriate who would like to try abit of the nightlife in the east side of the city or a simple bargoer with a no-nonsense approach when it comes to drinking and having a good time, then Sharmila is the place for you.

In summarization of everything, I'd like to easily point out that Sharmila has simplistic-yet-alluring appearance and ambience. With food and drinks reachable to many, and set in a location suited for partygoers and barhoppers in the Quezon City/Pasig area, the prices are just right and that you are assured of a great time with friends, music and drinks right here at Sharmila bar.
